External links on this Facebook Page do not constitute official endorsement or agreement on behalf of Debating SA and whilst we encourage fans to share thoughts and opinions on this social media forum, we expect that this will be done in a respectful manner as we will not tolerate personal attacks.
Therefore, comments will be deleted if they contain:
- Hate speech
- Profanity, obscenity or vulgarity
- Nudity in profile pictures
- Defamation to a person or people
- Name calling, bullying and/or personal attacks
- Trolling of any description
- Comments whose main purpose are to sell a product
- Comments that infringe on copyrights
- Comments that are clearly not on a thread or are deliberately provocative and do not contribute positively to the debate
- Grievances or issues with topics, adjudicators or members of our organisation
- Spam comments, such as the same comment posted repeatedly on a profile, and
- Other comments that Debating SA deem inappropriate.
Repeated or serious violations of the Facebook comment policy may cause the user to be permanently banned from Debating SA’s Facebook page. Debating SA understands that social media is a 24/7 medium; however, our moderation capabilities are not. While we will monitor this page closely, there may be some delays in removing inappropriate comments straight away.
