New to debating? This hands-on seminar is the perfect place to start.

Designed for beginner debaters, this engaging workshop will build your confidence and equip you with the essential skills to succeed. You’ll learn how debates work, what each speaker is responsible for, and how to develop clear, persuasive arguments using strong structure and effective delivery.

But this isn’t just theory.

Across the day, you’ll apply what you’ve learned through practical activities, working towards a real debate where you’ll present in front of an experienced adjudicator and receive valuable feedback to accelerate your improvement.

Whether you're preparing for school competitions or simply want to become a more confident communicator, this seminar will give you the tools to get started — and stand out.
