COVID-19 Attendee Requirements

In order to provide a safe environment for all attendees, in line with SA Health Requirements and the requirements of our Host Schools, all attendees are asked to abide by the following:

  • Use the SA Health QR Code or Manual Sign-In Register (available at the Information Desk).
  • Coaches/Teachers:
    •  1 x coach or teacher may attend a debate for duty of care purposes.
  •  Spectators:
    • Adelaide HS venue: No spectators except for coach
    • Cabra venue: Strictly 1 parent/caregiver per debater. No additional siblings or spectators.
    • Glenunga venue: Strictly 1 parent/caregiver per debater. No additional siblings or spectators.
    • Nazareth venue: Strictly 1 parent/caregiver per debater. No additional siblings or spectators.
    • Grange venue: Strictly 1 parent/caregiver per debater. No additional siblings or spectators.
  • Masks:
    • Must be worn by all students of Year 8 age or above, or Year 7 if students normally wear masks at school.
    • Must be worn by all adult attendees.
    • Students may remove their masks while speaking but should wear them at all other times.
    • Those with an exemption under SA Health Guidelines are also exempt during debating evenings.
  • All attendees are asked to observe 1.5 metre social distancing where possible.
