As part of the 6th Australian Wine Industry Environment Conference and Exhibition Debating SA was invited to present a public debate on the topic “That organic wine is more sustainable”.

The Affirmative Team consisted of Jakub Jankowski, Malwinka Wyra and Joshua Gascoigne, who were the champions of the 2011 Open Division.

The Negative Team consisted of Debating SA adjudicators Lachlan Hemsley, Kathleen Watson and Sonja Lowen.

All debaters acquitted themselves well debating what proved to be a complex and technical debate. The debate was declared a win for the adjudicator team by way of a ‘clapometer’. Well done to all involved!
